I came to Sunset Bikes hoping to purchase an electric bike for my son, but unfortunately, it was a very frustrating experience. The employee took one look at my son and immediately said he was too tall for any of their bikes. He only offered one option—a heavy electric bike that looked like a motorcycle and cost $3,000.

When I asked if it was possible to order something more suitable, he coldly replied, “No.” There was no effort to assist us or provide alternatives. He did not suggest trying another shop. The lack of customer service and willingness to help was disappointing.

Thankfully, I found another shop in Naha that was much more accommodating. They worked with us to find the right bike, and the experience there was night and day compared to Sunset Bikes. I wouldn’t recommend this shop if you’re looking for a helpful or customer-friendly experience.

Sunset Bikes went above and beyond! We dropped off a cheap kids bike for new brakes and got back a finely tuned machine a day later. They had even replaced the worn out grips at no cost! Couldn’t ask for better service.

Took my bike to this bike shop before starting my journey biking through Japan to the north tip. Extremely reasonable rate to tune up the whole bike and make sure it was ready for my trip.
